Time

I tend not to be very personal on this cause I am relatively a private person. So this post will probably be kinda cryptic except for when I can divulge about my own exploits that may or may not make for a good anecdote.

Today was the anniversary of something that happened 4 years ago for me. The first anniversary of this day for the other person involved was a surprise. They had not expected it. There was slight deal made the second year. The third year it was on my mind the whole day but the deal was made from the other side. This year there is little to no communication. This was saddening. It was my fault, I was a dickhead over the weekend. If I had not been a dickhead, a joke may have been made. It probably wouldn't have gone down to well because there really is little communication. Sometimes being civil can take a lot out of you.

That said, today was a good day. I got to hang out with a new person, I will be hanging out with them at the weekend also. I also hope to have good news tomorrow that was related to today but will wait to hear it myself first.
Tomorrow will be a good day. I'm going to hang out with Amy in Copenhagen before she gets her flight home. I would guess she is looking forward to hearing an Irish accent and to be able to talk at her speed and not worry if she will be understood. I am looking forward to that but I haven't slowed down my speech while here. Might have to repeat myself a bit! I still need to find out from her how she was traveling from Umeå since it seems to have been a bus, a plane and a train. Nights in hostels in different cities and another plane. Maybe she just wants to see Copenhagen. The Climate Change talks are on in Copenhagen at the moment. I have only been over there twice since I first saw the sign for Hopenhagen, the first time they were just setting everything up and today it was snowing so I didn't feel like having a noisey around. Maybe tomorrow. It does look impressive. That green ball in the centre of the picture is one of the main items on display. It's like a world projector screen. There has been riots in Copenhagen because of these talks but I live in my own little bubble and don't really know any details.

It was also pretty disgusting out but it was snow, I like snow. I do however want it to stick, which it did not. It kinda looked like it was sticking on the other tracks as I was getting the train back to Malmö. There was no snow when I got back to Malmö.

I have had the feeling all last week that this week was going to be good and that everything will be alright. Last week was a good week and this week has been ok. The weekend was awesome but there has been some repercussions. I saw Matt & Kim, they supported The Sounds. Matt & Kim were awesome, they are the happiest people playing music. I really enjoyed them. The Sounds put on a decent show but are very much like the other bands in their genre. The lead singer has Karen O's wardrobe. Malmö is their home town so I would have like to see something great. None the less I was in great form heading to the every once in a while metal club that happens to have Karaoke! This is were it's fuzzy. I remember buying more than one beer, I do remember singing Billy Joel's classic "Pianoman", I am pretty sure I have also sang that at the marvelous Fibbers Rock Karaoke but that also could be fuzzy. I also remember talking to a friend of mine that was staying in my apartment this weekend at said metal club. I did not remember the texts that I had been sending to see were they coming to said metal club. I also do not remember singing the Police classic, "Roxanne" which I do remember an excellent performance of it at the marvelous Fibbers Rock Karaoke. I also don't remember being a dick to another friend of mine who happens to have a video of my "Roxanne" performance from the said metal club which I think has had them forgive me, I hope. I have a vague memory of being at an afterparty and then arriving home. Now the timeline of this night goes as follows, Matt & Kim 8pm, The Sounds 9.45pm, Distortion @Deep Nightclub 11pm, after party sometime after 5am ( i think), getting home, I had thought that was around 6am, actually it was 10am. 10AM!! I don't remember seeing daylight. I woke up and my clock had said 7.30. I then fell asleep thinking it was 7.30am. I woke a little while later and saw it was 7.45pm. The last time I lost a whole day was after my 23rd at which I had been drinking Jack Daniels at 9am, I saw the sun come up so that wasn't as bad. NO daylight, today is the first day that I feel alright.

This memory loss has happened too often since I moved here. I am actually worried for myself. This weekend was strange as I remember most of the night but certain parts are gone. Other times that this has happened, I remember to a certain point in the night and then nothing until I wake up. That can be the worst.

I am going to be home from the 23rd till the 4th. This will be the first Christmas and New Years which I won't be working in the last 6 years maybe, definitely worked every New Years over the last 3 years. I don't mind working New years but something tells me that I probably wouldn't be able to work on New Years this year. I do still hope that I will be able to watch Jools Holland's Hootenanny and have 6 Dutch Gold as that has been the case for the last 6 years.

The new year should be great, I'm looking forward to it. I have a place in a college in Malmö to start studying Computer Programming starting in January. The Swedish course that I have been applying for since I got here should hopefully start in January. I should have a new apartment to live in, and by should I will cause I have to move out of this one. And if all is going well I will have a new job. Here's hoping. Time has changed everything for me. I hate waiting for it to change.

Shows

I have seen people talk about how hard it is for new people to feel welcome into a music scene. Some people usually are thinking about what are the reasons that this person is here. Sometime negative reasons come out first, sometimes it's positive.

I am slowly become part of the Hardcore scene in Malmö. Facebook and Google have been helpful in finding out about shows but by going to shows I have found more about the scene and people here. I am the outsider, this guy from Ireland but the sense of community is unreal. I feel welcomed.

First show I went to was the Social Circkle show in Utkanten. That venue is amazing. It was a really good gig and although the turn out was around 50 people (maybe a few more) they made it better by taking the equipment off the stage and playing on the floor.
Check out Pretty Whores and Commitment Crew. Social Circkle don't have a myspace but you can check them out here: http://www.nowayrecords.com/

Unfortunately at the next gig I was at in Utkanten, We Live in Trenches had to pull out, which is a shame

because I was really looking forward to seeing them live.
Skitkids (skit is kinda sounds like quit when pronounced, it mean shit) and Symptom put on a great show regardless. The turnout was really good for this show and included a good variety of people, it'd be nice to see that variety at home sometimes.

From that show I got talking to a few people that have been able to tell me about whats going on and where. Because of that there would have been no way I would have found out about the Punx Only show. This is in a Tattoo Studio that the lead singer of Sista Sekunden works in/owns(I'm not sure if he owns it). The place is tiny. With 50 people the place would be jammed I think there was closer to 80! It was amazing. All the bands were so good, Sista Sekunden have so much energy and a great presence. I was wondering how could anyone follow them but Beyond Pink have the skill to take a crowd for themselves. They don't take any prisoners.
Following Beyond Pink was Big Hands. I had been drinking with the guitarist/vocalist and the bassist for a good part of the night, the guitarist had been drunk since Wednesday. By the time the were playing I was also pretty drunk. Big Hands were awesome as far as I remember (swedish beer is working to destroy my short term memory).

This week I had my first out of town show. Considering that Sweden is huge, out of town shows will probably be more often than in Ireland. So far I'm not sure if Hardcore shows follow the same town playing format as in Ireland, for example if
Stockholm = Dublin then
Gothenburg would = Galway and
Malmö would = Cork and maybe
Uppsala might = Belfast BUT
there's Jönköping, Linköping and Norrköping, in theory they could be Westmeath/Carlow but seem to be much more active than Carlow. I will be going to see Ruiner in Jönköping instead of Gothenburg for two reasons, I'm flying back from Ireland that day and Jönköping is better apparently. Now as far as I can tell Malmö Hardcore and Jönköping Hardcore seems to be the most active but I haven't really got a good gauge on it because this week was my first and second out of town shows.

This was also the first time I was in Lund on purpose.  It's a University town and is pretty close to Malmö, kinda like Maynooth is to Dublin. The town that I briefly saw is really picturesque.
Hemgården is a youth centre that has a venue (small venue,  80 people comfortably full) computer access, a cafe and I have been told a recording studio. It's a great set up. This gig was free but you could donate to help the bands out.

This was an EP launch for Jönköping/Malmö Big Deal and to start a two week euro tour. Vicious band. Values, another band from Jönköping. I had been hanging out with the singers from both bands the week before and both of them took me by surprise when they hit the stage. I can't wait to see both of these bands again. I was really happy at this gig as well because Malmös Beyond Pink had been added to this show, they really know how to have fun on stage and enjoy playing. The also did an awesome cover of What's my age again.

The second gig again was in Lund and in Hemgården. I had gotten to it late because I had gotten a lift to Hemgården (community) for the Big Deal/Values show and had gotten the bus for this show. I had no idea where I was going. So unfortunately I miss the first two bands and only got the last few songs of Balance's set. I really wanted to see Balance, so a bit pissed I missed their the start of their set. They are now on a four day tour with Hårda Tider who also played this show. Hårder Tider are an amazing band, the singer gave me the lift to Lund for the previous show and again completely blown away once he hit the stage. Vicious band that just destroy all in their way. Also this gig had the diversity that the Skitkids gig had, many of them left after Hårda Tider though. Shame.
Pressure were the last band for the night. I was told that Broken Distance and Critical Point pretty much had the same 7 guys playing whichever instruments for each band. Good since they all from Faro, Portugal and on tour. The only configuration I saw was Pressure, who had some good tunes but the in between song chat of saying loads but saying nothing, for me was their downfall.

Again thanks to that community aspect, the singer-guitarist of the Pretty Whores gave me a lift back to Malmö, via another gig, Deportees from the great heights of Umeå are great musicians, soulless songs though. They looked like they had feeling but there was no feeling, everything that they played went in one ear and straight back out.

I'm in Ireland next weekend and I can not wait for this! See you there.

Meh

Meh has become a key word over the last few months. My sister uses it to answer questions. Generally when she is being asked what her thoughts are on anything. It's pretty much how I feel today. Didn't really want to do anything today. Haven't done anything. I could have gotten the Flu Vaccine today, decided against it. A friend got it yesterday and has spent all day today sick, not into being sick even if it is only a small side effect. I haven't had a flu vaccine before so I think i'll keep it that way.

Today wasn't all unproductive, I did try to get my network to have open NAT settings. I have a strange set up. I have a usb dongle from Telenor to connect to the internet, I also have a Phillips router that is connected to my mac by ethernet. My internet is shared from the usb connection to ethernet, so then my Xbox can connect to Xbox Live and Connect360 which is a great program, if you have a Mac and a Xbox get that program. But although I have all the settings correct it still has Moderate NAT settings. the routers homepage hasn't got an option for "Open, Moderate, Strict" NAT settings. It's annoying but I can connect to Xbox Live so that'll do for the moment.

I am trying to not spend all my time playing Xbox though cause I do need to get a job. I got another "Thanks for your application but we're going with someone else" email today. Nice of them. So far they have been the second company that has replied to my application. I need a job because I'm getting really bored of looking for jobs. The Google translate translations aren't as funny as they were. Handing out CV's is ok, I'm guessing my complete lack of Swedish is what is holding me back, or my previous work experience sucks.

I have been granted an exemption for the entrance requirements for the computer programming course I applied for in September. So I'm guessing I nearly have my place in the course which I should have anyway cause the course is done online. Waiting. Always waiting. I have Wine installed on my computer so I can run windows programs on my Mac however it may have not been properly installed the first time, maybe because I lost patience with it the last time. The Wine package comes with various Windows software which it is installing (for the last 4 hours) the ones that I have selected from the list. Some may come in handy for my college course. I have been messing around with my Mac, in between hunting jobs, for example installed Ubuntu Linux on a partition and on a spare external hard drive. Neither seems optimal so reinstalled Snow Leopard. Unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with the external hard drive that I was using because now it tends to freeze when in use. There's nothing on it but it won't format properly either. I might have to put it back into Cinderella (my old PC) and try from that side.

I really need to play drums. I have the snare from my practice kit in my room. The rest of the kit is in storage down in the basement. I forgot to bring the muffle skin for the bass drum so it's not going to work well in an apartment. Hopefully will get something going band wise. Would be great to just play a kit for a bit. Guitar Hero world tour just doesn't cut it. I've been to a few gigs here which have been good. The venue that they put shows on is awesome. It's in a building which is in an Industrial estate. They call it Utkanten, which kinda means outskirts. It's a gig venue and has gym equipment and computer stuff and a bicycle repair workshop and a kitchen. It's a DIY activity centre. Check out it's page and if you can't read Swedish go to Google translate.

Day 10 of Novembeard. Not as itchy as other have been complaining about. I wish I wasn't cockeyed sometimes.

Meh.

SNOW

It just started snowing! I fucking love snow! Strange though cause I was told it probably wouldn't snow here that much cause it's so south. Don't care. Probably going to have the same battle as at home of "is it going to stick?" at least for this week anyway!
I got my right of residence the other day so, now I can be put on the waiting list for the free Swedish for Immigrants course that I want to do. I was told I'll be waiting till January. Not good.
I might try the adult education place down the road and see if I can get a course there. I need to get a job and I think it'll be hard without any Swedish. Hopefully the places I applied in Copenhagen don't mind an English speaker, but then I might have to learn Danish!
I applied for a computer programming course that is due to start in January and it's now in it's preliminary evaluation of my application so thats looking good I think.
And Novembeard/Christashmas has begun, it's day 4. I should smile.

...

I'm getting a bit restless. I have been waiting for a while now for this piece of paper that I need to sort out things like learning Swedish and having a bank account. It also would be nice if any of the jobs I have applied for would give me an interview or something. So far I think two place have sent me a "thanks for your CV...." which is a generic automated email! Yipee!
Google, though has been the best. Pretty much have Google Translate open all day along with Google Maps. Some of the translating skills are funny. Stockholm was translated as Ontario and Sweden has come up as Canada and Malmö was translated into Cape Town.
Cooking is something I am enjoying. I tend to be making Italian stuff like lasagna, bolognese. I'm going to try a Ragu sort of thing some day soon.

Still waiting

I'm kind of half waiting, half doing at this stage. To register with the job finding company I have to wait for a form from the social welfare so i can continue to have my benefit while I job search. Also waiting for my right of residence to come in the post so I can complete my registration for the Swedish course that I need to do cause everyone here speaks Swedish. then if I'm studying, I think I should be able to get a bank account. On the other side I have been job searching, walking around getting to know Malmö, and getting to the stage I'm at be going to pretty much all of the Government offices in this city.
I have gotten a new phone and a blisteringly fast internet connection (if onl
y). The phone is alright, it's a Nokia 5800.
It's decent but the touch screen is
nowhere as good as the iPhone screen which I'm still using for my Irish number.
The mobile internet fro
m Telenor isn't bad for browsing and checking emails, kinda slow on the download but I have got the base pa
ckage which I'll probably
upgrade when I get a job and have a steady income.
Hopefully today I will get my copy of SnowLeopard OS X v10.6 I was going to get Leopard a couple of months ago but because of
the imminent arrival of SnowLeopard I have just been waiting, Tiger has served me very well but once in a while something comes up and says you need OS X v10.5 to complete this. Also it's easier to use X11 apps with Leopard/SL than with Tiger, well for me. I probably just was doing something wrong when i was trying it out before. I will probably try to upgrade
from Tiger to SL since I have seen  online that it
can/cannot be done. I have all backed up so if needs be I can just do the clean install. I'll keep you updated.
My previous updates were all done on my iPhone with a lite app so I couldn't add any photos so here's a few:

Waiting

Yesterday I registered for a personal number here. A personal number is like a PRSI number. Here, you need a personal number unlike at home where it is only needed for when you have to pay tax. To set up a bank account I need a personal number and just a personal number, no bill as proof of address or ID, just a personal number. To get a phone I need a personal number. To get broadband I need a personal number. To register for a Swedish course, personal number. I have to transfer my dole across, and have to register with a place that's like FAS and I need a personal number for that.
I have to wait one to two weeks for my personal number.

Gatwick

So I have in the last two and I half weeks I have driven to Sweden, unpacked my stuff, did some fishing, walked around the city I'm going to be living in and then drove home. I have had four days at home to a) relax after the driving session and b) see who ever was about. All in all good weekend.

At the moment I'm in gatwick airport getting lunch. I have to wait till 16.45 till the gate opens for my flight. As soon as I get Internet in Sweden I'll post some pics of the travel and previous events that have been documented but not published.

Later Ireland.

Breakfast

Just after finishing breakfast. I'm in this hotel in holland. It's part of the Valk group. We stop in another Valk group hotel but they were full so they got us a room here. Nice of them.
We have 7hours and 45minutes drive in front of us. It'll be good to drive in daylight. Wales was really pretty for the hour and a half daylight we got to see. Night driving sucks. It also doesn't help that the gps seems to be set to senic route and avoid motorways. Hopefully today that's resolved. So today it's drive past towards Bremen and go past it to Hamburg and turn left. Then nearly to the top of Denmark and go right to Copenhagen. Keep going through Copenhagen and cross the bridge into Malmö.

I'm on a boat

At this very moment I'm on a boat in the Irish Sea making my way to Holyhead. I started packing for this trip last night at 1am. Probably should have done it earlier but since I was busy building a building for CaseyLaurapoLena or Duffypalozza '09 as it has been renamed, 1am was the best time to start.
On Saturday when I was driving to Ikea to get a sink for the building it kinda hit me for the first time that I was leaving Ireland. I'm going to miss so many people and so many things so much. The last few years have been some of the best times of my life. To be part of the Bay Community has been amazing. I have had the great pleasure of getting to know some great people. The bands that i have played in have all been key in my life to some amazing memories and experiences.
Hopefully everything that I have lived through so far will have prepared me for what's to come. It will definitly be strange to live in Sweden at first with little or no Swedish, but I'll get through that I hope. I'm really excited for what I'm doing. Firstly I'm can not wait to do this drive. It should be class! Then hanging out in Malmö and heading up Falkenberg for the weekend, maybe fish or pretend to hunt! If anyone knows of any jobs in Malmö, hook me up!
I'm back in Ireland on the 28th and on the 1st of September I fly to Sweden. Many people I know will be at Iperfest those days. I will try to see as many people as I can while I'm home.
My boat internet is about to run out.

Later.

Roofing

Some peolpe might know that I'm building a building. If you didn't, I'm building a building. In twelve days I drive to Sweden. If you didn't know, I'm moving there for as long as I can. I'm going to miss Ireland.

hmmm

I was trying a few weeks back to do an update from my iPhone but that didn't work. Anyway since I haven't been working I originally had thought it felt like vacation but now i don't know. I have been busy, getting stuff sorted for what's happening in August, my granny's birthday was this weekend, band name change and putting the track on myspace. Hard times!

So for those that don't know, I'm moving to Sweden. It's going to be awesome I hope, I'm really looking forward to the drive over, yes I'm driving over. Dublin to Holyhead then drive to Harwich and get the ferry to the Hook of Holland and then drive to Sweden from there through Holland, a bit of Germany, and Denmark and across the bridge to Malmö.

My granny had a party for her 90th birthday on Saturday, such a good night. pretty much all of the family was there which was amazing since they are from all over the place, the span would be Toronto to New Zealand. Really good night!

And the Prestige has become Facing. Check it out, we have a track up. Also playing in the Twisted Pepper on August 3rd. Check out the details here.

It's over, go home

Today will be the last day I work for Urban Outfitters. Three and a half years is quite some time to work for one place, kinda, I worked in two different stores. I have been lucky enough to have started as a Sales assistant and worked my way to Management.
Some people in work have asked "What am I going to do?" because they see me as a part of Urban Outfitters. Others have asked "how do I feel about my last day?" I have had no idea because it's only happening today. I'm pretty excited.

The reason I am leaving is that I'm moving to Sweden in August and I have a load of stuff to do at home before I head off. I'm driving to Sweden! Getting a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and then drive down to south England to Harwich, ferry to the Hook of Holland and then drive up to Sweden. Can't wait. That's probably what I'm really excited about today!

In work we sell CDs, and from when I started there was a record shop in store and then Urban Outfitters started selling the CDs themselves. Throughout this time there has been a few CDs on rotation. one of them is PopChop. I did hate this Cd for a very long time but i actually look forward to it these days because inbetween songs there are movie quotes from such gems as Beverly Hills Cop, Ferris Bullers Day Off, RoboCop, Back to the Futres and Jaws. Them and Will Smith "write one verse without a curse!" aah ha, woohoo! awesome. I may miss that CD.

I'll see how today goes. Metal Karaoke tonight!!

Blog Time

I have been far away from this for a long time. I think February was as long as January this year, mainly because I was working for ages, it seemed and then I was in Florida at Disney World and Miami, both of which were amazing. With me on that adventure was my family and my girlfriend. After that holiday I was working and working and more working and then getting practice in between sleeping and driving to and from work.

I haven't been doing anything else, really. I get up, drive for 45/60mins, work for 9hrs with 1 hour lunch included, drive home for 45/60mins. If I'm lucky I get to practice some of the nights during the week. I did end up going out two weekends in a row which hasn't happened since 2007.
One was a birthday event for one of the girls from work, (the one with the red hair)an amazing night was had. I had some cans with ones of the lads from work in his mates apartment, she had to get ready to come out for the festivities, we then headed to the Bernard Shaw and had an amazing time. some random band was playing and it involved me being here:

We then made our way to Crawdaddy which feels like i was there for 20 minutes but was definitily longer than that. The following weekend had the adventure of the the first Prestige gig. Whelans was the place along with Find A Way and The Laundry Shop. Strangest line up for a gig but it was really good, thanks to everyone that came out and said such nice things about us.
After getting rid of the equipment and my car i tried to go drinking with some of the work people that had come out for the show, one was very drunk by the time i got back and then she went home, actually she was very drunk by the time i was leaving! But i got to hang out for a while before closing as well as getting a burger. good times!

Now I have done something drastic in the last couple of days, I have given up smoking. I had been smoking for the last 11 years and I finished the carton of 200 that I had brought back from America on St.Patricks Day. So yeah that's only three days ago but still it's three days!I'm really bored though. I haven't smoked in the house for at least a year or so now but I did really enjoy going outside and having a cigarette. Now I find myself wandering around the rooms in the house. To keep myself occupied recently I have installed Ubuntu Linux onto my old PC which has proved to be very good, I also put it onto a laptop that my friend had that she needed to have wiped and then have it herself. wasn't easy since there was no CD drive of Floppy drive or would boot from usb AND it had a BIOS password which was a pain in the ass and the only way i could bypass it was open the laptop and take out the CMOS battery and put it back in and put the laptop back together. the alternative is to bring to a Toshiba dealer and they'll fixed it for €60!!!
I also having been trying to put a version of Linux onto a really old computer that had Windows 98. So far i have taking the tiny hard drive it has out, plugged it into my other PC and installed Windows XP but the versions of Fedora, Ubuntu and Puppy Linux all failed because of the sheer shitness of this PC. I'm going to try DamnSmallLinux later on. If i can get it working somehow I'll probably give it to my friend that has the laptop and the other PC i might try to use it as an audio workstation. Maybe if I have even more time to kill because of not smoking and more money because of not smoking I might build one as an audiostation for the main reason of I want to see if I can. With that in mind, recording of the Prestige may begin very soon.

I just finshed reading the17 It's one of the funniest books i have read in awhile. It is a diary of the mind of Bill Drummond and how he thinks music as a recorded format is dead and what he/we can do about it. If you can get your hands on this book, it's a great read. Maybe you will be able to put into practice what he is talking about.

I think that will do until I get the urge to smoke/I mean write again. If I see you and I snap, forgive me.

where am i? what am i doing? what have i done?

so.

I was in Sweden 2 weeks ago. Main reason for the visit was to see my girlfriend. She had moved back home at the end of November, which sucked, so in mid December I got flights. The flights were a bit annoying. As she is now living in the south of Sweden in Malmö it turns out it is a little difficult to get flights to and from there during the winter months from Dublin. The same also applies to Copenhagen which is right beside Malmö. But i was able to find flights from Stanstead, ryanair flights ensue followed by easyjet to bring me to Copenhagen and then a train to Sweden. not a bad amount of travel just timing of it all was a bit crap. the ryanair flight out of Dublin was at 7 in the morning and i was in Stanstead by half 8 or something to that effect. My easyjet flight wasn't for another 6 hours! the train i was lucky, I got off the plane, through passport control and got a train ticket and the train arrived. Love good public transport.

So Sweden is awesome, I have been there a good six times by now. The food is tasty, the people are really nice, there is always a house party before you go out! Copenhagen is pretty also. I was there last year when i was at Roskilde, we headed into Copenhagen the day before the festival started. Danish is a strange language but everyone speaks English which is handy but I would feel better if I actually knew some Danish, like enough to show them that I'm trying! all i know is "farvell" which Calrsberg thought me.

When I got back, I flew into Dublin at 7.30am and then was in work for 1pm till 10pm. that was fun! pretty much had to work for six or seven days in a row as we were preparing for Inventory (stock take), a lot of people hate inventory because it is tedious. Personally I don't hate it, I don't love it but it does keep my mind occupied on the fact that i haven't been paid since before Christmas! I get paid Wednesday, January is officially the longest month EVER!!!

In other news, I'm moving out of my house in Dundrum. This makes me sad. I really really love living here. It is a class house and my landlord is amazing! I would love if someone i knew would take the lease over cause i don't want my landlord not have a tenant. At the moment it is just me in the house. since the end of December it was myself and one of the girls I was living with. My girlfriend moved back to Sweden and the girl she moved over here with 4 years ago moved in with her boyfriend in town. Myself and my housemate decided that we should move out since we had one couple interested in the spare room in two months. So I'm moving back home. I haven't lived at home for the last three years, i will also be driving my sorry ass to and from Dundrum for work which is going to suck. I reckon that I'll save some money in regards rent and bills versus petrol and parking. I'll probably move back out when the rents drop with this recession we're having!!

Also I am going to DisneyWorld and Miami next month. It should be awesome as my girlfriend is coming over here for a few days and then we all(my family) are going to Florida. I love traveling but I am slowly developing a hatred for airports.

Today I have some fluy cold thing that one of th lads in work had two days ago. not fun. I hate being/feeling sick! For a good part of today, around lunch time, all i could smell was wet dog. Not good when you are trying to enjoy a cajun chicken panini.

AND... the Prestige is going well, we have a third guitarist and he is awesome! We should play a show. Soon. I hope. Maybe. Record something. Possible. I hope. Maybe.

Later Mang!!
